I don’t think there could be a single theme song for all the Harry Potter movies. Since every movie has its own soundtrack, the official soundtrack has eight songs. Yes, there is an official soundtrack for each of the eight movies. There are seven books in the series, but the last one, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, is in two parts.
But if you ask me, and I think most people would agree, there is one song that keeps coming up in the Harry Potter movies that stand out. “Hedwig’s Theme” is from the first Harry Potter movie’s soundtrack, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” John Williams wrote it, Isobel Griffiths played it, and Conrad Pope led an orchestra that put it all together.
Listen to the song below and let me know if it’s what you were thinking of.
I just learned that Hedwig’s Theme is a theme that keeps coming up. It’s a musical term for a theme that keeps coming back. So, I guess that it really is the one connected to Harry Potter. Moreover, parts of the song can be heard in the movies that came after it.
If you’re curious, the movie series has 8 different soundtracks, one for each movie. There are many places to get the soundtracks.
John Williams wrote all of the songs on the first three discs, which are called Philosopher’s Stone (Sorcerer’s Stone), Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban. Peter Doyle wrote the music for the fourth disk, which is called “Goblet of Fire.” Nicholas Cooper wrote the music for the fifth and sixth disks, Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince. The seventh, Deathly Hallows: Part 1, was composed by Alexandre Desplat, and the last one hasn’t been decided yet.

At the 74th Academy Awards, the music from The Philosopher’s Stone was up for Best Original Music Score, but The Lord of the Rings won instead.
In 2003, the music from “The Chamber of Secrets” was up for a Grammy.
I’ll say more about this later, but for now, I’ve got something I think is great! Pay attention!
Hedwig’s Theme Song Instrumental
I love this movie series more than any other. I have read most of them. Likewise, I love them too, which is strange because I don’t usually like to read. There is a new Harry Potter series that I won’t talk about until it’s over. For now, just let us know if you like Harry’s theme song, listen to the other magical themes we’ve prepared for you, and we’ll see you in the next one.
